I’ve seen Rebecca Minkoff‘s brand grow throughout the years and I must say her style is getting better and better. I’m currently swooning over her newest Resort & Cruise 2014 collection which draws its influence from the free spirit of a girl on the road with a band as they travel along the Pacific Coast Highway. Seriously would rock every piece from the collection and how cool are the bags? So good, obsessed with this lucite clutch with a pop of neon! My favorite is definitely the leather backpack, so into it! #WANT
Her style is eclectic and reflects her diverse experiences and encounters on her journey. Keeping the attitude of the pop era, Minkoff translates her vision into a more feminine, modern approach. Exaggerated silhouettes provocatively accentuate the waist line, bust and hips – highlighting and empowering the female figure.
Delicate lace bombers and vibrant floral motos create a harmony of rocker edge and elegance while neon tweed jogging pants tap into the essence of the early 80s. True to the inner rebel of the girl with the band, zippers are placed front and center along sweater sleeves, trousers and dresses, which she tops off with leather studded jackets – and a dose of insouciance.
