Last night was eerily quiet in Manhattan in preparation for Hurricane Sandy. The MTA closed at 7pm and most people got off work at 6pm to make the last train. I live in Manhattan and had a ride so I was out till late stocking up on snacks and dinner with some friends before we locked ourselves in till the hurricane passes.
I hope everyone stays safe and well as Hurricane Sandy is approaching the East Coast, kinda scary hearing the strong winds and sirens on the quiet streets. The power of the wind is shaking the street lights and bolted down signs, please be cautious and if you don’t need to be out, stay home! Don’t take this lightly, mother nature is not to be messed with! Praying for those that have been affected, stay safe! Also, hoping there is no power outage! Ah…
