getting my hair did from a Ted Gibson stylist
Last week, Style Coalition hosted its first “VIP Influencer Lounge” at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week at the Empire Hotel. It was the first day of the lounge and Microsoft was there with the latest laptops, tablets and accessories, and a variety of Windows Phones for guests to play with. Microsoft gave an exclusive look at what’s next in technology and fashion and we also had a chance to play with FaceCake Swivel, a virtual fitting room made possible by Kinect technology (originally released by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 for controller free gaming and entertainment). The Swivel virtual dressing room is at 20 Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide. Pretty cool! I was really obsessed with the Microsoft PixelSense, an interactive touch screen table with photo editing and layout capabilities, I so need one for my office! And don’t forget Bloomingdale’s at 59th Street features the Microsoft Research Printing Dress, it projects tweets directly onto the dress. Passersby can watch their words come alive by using the hashtag #MSBloomingdales. Really innovative.
