KNITTA for Sunglass Hut 2011 Artist Series

The Sunglass Hut Artist Series is an annual program that sources up-and-coming artists to create exclusive collectible sunglasses in support of OneSight – the charitable foundation created to help restore and preserve clear vision for adults and children in need worldwide. This year, Sunglass Hut has partnered with Magda Sayeg aka KNITTA to create edition sunglasses, which will be available exclusively at SunglassHut.com. Each pair retails for $130, $30 of which will benefit OneSight.

Considered to be the mother of yarn bombing, KNITTA leads community-based projects to beautify urban areas around the world. Her installations have also been featured prominently at American monuments to contemporary culture, such as The Standard Hotel, South By Southwest, and the Austin City Limits Festival.
