IPL Hair Removal at STRIP – Final Results!

IPL Hair Removal at STRIP – Final Results!

from my miami trip

Remember I’ve been getting treatments at STRIP for IPL hair removal for my lower legs? I’ve been done for a few months but I wanted to wait to report on the final results to see if there’s any changes. I am super happy to report back that this is one of the best decisions I’ve made, it seriously made my life easier. Before getting IPL hair removal, I would literally have to shave almost everyday, it was tedious and sometimes I would get nicks, not a good look. Also, shaving gives stubbles and ingrown hair, with the IPL treatment my legs are always smooth!

After 6 sessions of IPL, I’m happy to report back that my lower legs that got treated are hairless. There was no pain and it was easy. I got some treatments during the summer which was bare leg season and I didn’t even need to stay away from the sun because IPL doesn’t burn the skin unlike laser. Now I just get dressed and leave without even worrying about hair legs ha. I’m not going to repeat myself too much, you can read about my thoughts and procedure in my previous post here. Please note, everyone’s hair and skin reacts differently, this is my personal experience and result. I’ve included some facts about IPL after the jump, so take a look if you’re interested. Once again big thanks to STRIP for making my legs hair free! LOVE!

Also, STRIP is currently running a 50% off Brazilian Wax for first timers that book appointments for Mondays to Fridays between 1pm-5pm. Take advantage!

IPL
– heat energy delivered through a broad-spectrum of light energy (low doses, but multiple “passes” on skin)
– up to 80% of hair reduction
– treatment is fast due to big area of treatment per shot
– generally safe with no side effects
– reduces the occurrence of ingrown hair and lightens pigmentation
– after treatment, do not need to stay out of the sun (that was what I was told from my technician, you should always confirm)
