Sneaker Con DC + Peking Gourmet Inn

I’m super behind on travel posts, still got lots of Miami trip pics to share but I figure I’ll bang out the DC ones first since there’s not much. Last week my friends at Sneaker Con invited me to their 2-day event in Washington DC, the first event I decided to wear eyeglasses. I hardly wear eyeglasses out because I’m not really used to it but I kinda liked it. My eyes weren’t dry and it was a lot more comfortable than wearing contacts. Sneaker Con DC was CRAZY, the line to come in never stopped and the event was poppin’. All sneakerheads unite!

Remember I said I haven’t really found good food in DC, especially Chinese food? For some reason the Chinatown is lacking there but my uncle did recommend trying the famous Peking Duck joint, a Bush family favorite. Peking Gourmet Inn turned out to be pretty good, I’d go there again. I love duck!
