40 Bond + Hung Ry

40 Bond + Hung Ry

Friday, August 5, 2011 by Wendy Lam

I love the luxury apartment building at 40 Bond Street designed by Swiss architects Herzog de Meuron, a Ian Schrager property. The outside of the building is an art piece itself, oh how I wish I lived there…one day, one day!

Across the way is Hung Ry, a Chinese hand-pulled noodles spot which I finally tried this past Wednesday. The restaurant is very chill and the food was really good. I got the Octopus (with watermelon, fennel, chili oil) for appetizer and the Ox Tail Hand-pulled Organic Noodle Soups (with egg, brazil nuts, broccoli, tomato). The Octopus was very refreshing with watermelon, I’m drooling thinking about it. And the Ox Tail noodle soup was very tasty, so YUM! Definitely will go back again with friends!
