Last week I stopped by The Standard Hotel High Line Room bright and early for Nine West‘s Spring/Summer 2011 press preview. Nine West Creative Director, Fred Allard and campaign model Constance Jablonski was on hand to walk bloggers and editors through the collection. The new collection is an infusion of architectural elements and high-quality craftsmanship, lots of great shoes and accessories! The main features are sky-high wedges (love them!), kitten heels (yes they’re back), lots of whites, vivid hues inspired by the lush colors of a tropical environment, floral prints, natural earthy tones, wood, safari and animal prints, and ladylike shoes and bags.
I’m dying over all the espadrilles, they’re super high and they’ll go with everything for Spring. The big round straw bags are so cute too, perfect for the beach and a tropical vacation. Love the strappy sandal with cut-out platform as well, those are hot. And can’t forget the cute ladylike bags, they’re on my list too! Check out the preview after the jump…
