London-based fashion designer Peter Jensen teamed up with Urban Outfitters to launch an exclusive collection this holiday. The PJ by Peter Jensen for Urban Outfitters collection combines many of the playful details and cuts the designer uses for his main line, drawing on inspiration from the varied work he’s accomplished throughout his ten year career. “There are a few ideas from past collections,” says Jensen. “Things I thought worked particularly well that deserved a second life,” he adds.

Loving the whimsical animal knits! Besides animal knits, there are also blue or red gingham flannel skirts and shirts, the first collection also includes his polar bear, blue rabbit, and grey dog sweaters, a fox t-shirt dress, and triple collar shirt. “The exciting thing about doing a line with Urban Outfitters is that it’s accessible to everyone,” adds Jensen. “PJ combines great, easy pieces with a touch of humor.”

PJ by Peter Jensen will be available in-store and online at urbanoutfitters.com from December 2010.
