G-Star RAW Spring 2011 Collection Preview

I stopped by G-Star RAW‘s booth at Project while I was out in Vegas and checked out its Spring 2011 collection, the new RAW Essentials range is my favorite. The RAW Essentials collection features vintage influences mixed with a modern, big-city street style to create a range that avoids the “boring authentic replicas” trap, basing pant styles around the distinctive low-crotch, tapered-leg silhouette unique to G-Star. All RAW Essentials pieces feature an infinity-symbol style label that hints at the unlimited possibilities of denim. These are placed on the inside of each garment, with only the reverse stitching visible- a subtle signal to other denim connoisseurs as to the quality of each piece.
