I give props to brands that are philanthropy-based and this is one. I was contacted by a new brand called 141 Eyewear that operates much like TOMS Shoes, for each pair of 141 Eyewear purchased, they give a new pair of glasses to a person in need. No portions of proceeds, no percentages, simply, “One Four One.” All the eyewear styles are very timeless and classic and are handcrafted in Japan.

With over 153 million people needing corrective eyewear but cannot afford it, it’s amazing how you can help the less fortunate by just purchasing a pair of eyeglasses. They were able to give over 200 pairs of glasses to the children and families that were hit hardest by last year’s Typhoon Morakot. They are actually planning on holding their next clinic in Portland, Oregon where 141 Eyewear was born in the next few months.

For more styles or info, check www.141eyewear.com, to see how you can change a person’s life. You buy, they give…
