I’m a fan of Melissa shoes, so when I came across this new collaboration with Italian designer, Gaetano Pesce, I was very impressed. The shoes are made of interconnected PVC circles but if you don’t like the bootie style, you can cut it into a sandal, a ballet flat, peep-toe or get creative with it. ‘This is the future of mass production,’’ Pesce says. ‘‘With the technology we have today, we can give people something that is half done and ask them to finish it.” Pretty interesting!
