I’m a bit confused whether this is the official ad campaign or lookbook for Chanel’s Cruise 2010-11 collection, according to VOGUE UK it’s a lookbook. It’s no surprise that Karl Lagerfeld chose to shoot Georgia May Jagger for the Chanel Cruise 2010-11 Saint-Tropez lookbook, she did close the runway show. But why did Karl Lagerfeld choose Georgia? “Because Miss Jagger is the modern girl. She is the girl of today. There is a total identification between her and the clothes. They could be her clothes,” explains Lagerfeld. “She is totally at home in Chanel. And that fits in the pattern of what Saint-Tropez can represent, what it is not really and yet what it can inspire,” he adds. One of Karl’s favorites, Baptiste Giabiconi is also featured in the shoot. Do you like the shots?
