Pamela Love Fall 2010 Lookbook

I’ve been seriously admiring Pamela Love jewelry for a minute now, love the dark and edginess of her jewelry. Her jewelry are all produced in-house and is often inspired by animals and nature. According to the press release, the Fall/Winter 2010 collection is based around three themes: Sacred Hearts, Day of the Dead, and Ropes. After a road trip to Mexico, she was inspired to to create the “Day of the Dead” pieces based on Papel Picado— a form of Mexican folk art of intricately cut tissue paper flags. The Ropes pieces features simple construction of plain rope contrasted with the complex weaving of the pieces. The Sacred Hearts pieces are the latest example of Love’s continued fascination with symbology.

Pamela Love is available online at shopbop.com, Forward by Revolve, Oak and Opening Ceremony. Loves it!
