Moises de la Renta for Mango Launch Event

Back in January I posted a preview of the Moises de la Renta for Mango T-shirt collection, on Wednesday the launch event took place at the new trendy Crosby Street Hotel. The 8-piece limited edition collection of T-shirts and tanks features embellished jewels, precious stones and tulle, as well as graphic illusions with transparencies and patchwork effects. Love the collection, the T-shirts are so cute. My favorite piece is the black tee with gold chains and ribbons, definitely need to get that. At the event the models were styled so cute, loved how they looked. The collection will go on sale at Mango stores and at Mangoshop.com in April with prices ranging from €25 to €35 (USD$36 – $50).

Moises de la Renta was very satisfied with his designs and was delighted to collaborate with MANGO. The young designer said, “My inspiration for this collection was the traditional romantic themes: from pretty patchworks with summer flowers in somber colors, such as rose, violet, grey and black, to graphic illusions which combine transparent effects, with shiny gems and adornments in between.”
