William Rast Fall 2010 Collection

I almost missed the William Rast runway show since Anna Sui ran pretty late but luckily I opted for the train instead of a cab so I got there on time. When I got to Cedar Lake, I spotted Anna Wintour, Carine Roitfeld and Jessica Biel sitting front row, so I was pretty excited already. It was a packed show!

For fall, William Rast was inspired by a spiritual, soul searching journey of ‘New America’ through the eyes and mind of a nomadic biker. Some of my favorites were the sporty military looks and loved the fur fox tails used throughout the collection. Definitely an expansion of their collection from the usual denim looks. They also showcased an exclusive collection of both women’s and men’s footwear, the brand will be launching the fashion forward premium line for FW10. The collection includes boots and ankle boots.
