I’ve passed by Cafe Gitane almost every time I shop in SoHo but there’s always a long line during the weekends so I never tried it. Last week I met up with friend Melissa for lunch and she brought me to her fave spot which was Cafe Gitane. It was a weekday so there was not much of a wait, the restaurant is cute and cozy with a yummy menu. One thing I have mention is that they don’t serve soda which was a shock to me since I kinda need soda when I’m eating out (yes I’m addicted lol). Ended up with fresh watermelon juice which was ok only, ordered the Baked Pasta with Prosciutto which was super amazing- kinda craving for it right now! Also got the Orange Blossom Waffle to share, ended up kinda being our dessert but it was yummy too. Definitely one of my spots now, go try it if you’re in NYC! Oh yea be sure to bring cash, they do not accept credit cards!
