Mad Men x Barbie

I still have yet to start watching television series Mad Men but I’ve heard that it’s really good, going to start soon. According to the NYTimes, Mattel plans to bring out versions of Barbie and Ken styled after four Mad Men characters: Joan Holloway, Roger Sterling, Don Draper and Betty Draper. The dolls are part of a premium-price collectors’ series for adults that Mattel calls the Barbie Fashion Model Collection and will be the first licensed line for that collection with a suggested retail price of $74.95 each. There will be 7,000 to 10,000 copies of each doll, to be sold in specialty stores and on two Web sites, amctv.com and barbiecollector.com. Mad Men and Barbie fans, look out for the release!
