If I wasn’t flying to Barcelona on February 20th, I would of flown out to London for Topshop UNIQUE’s Fall/Winter 2010 runway show. According to Jacqui Markham, Topshop Joint Head of Design, the collection was inspired by two elements, one was camping in the woods and the other was like a twisted Narnia environment. Natural colors were used throughout the collection like tans, browns, greens and uniform blues, faux fur and thigh-high socks are seen again. The “Girl Scouts meets Where The Wild Things” collection was really fun and quite amazing, wish I could of seen it on the runway, it’s totally a different feel seeing it live. Emma Cook’s animal masks/hats on the models are quite trippy haha, gotta love it.
