I’m so lucky to have such creative friends, another friend of mine, Sena Yang, just launched a new contemporary line called SENA and I’m loving it. Sena graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and worked for Alexander McQueen, Catherine Malandrino, LaRok and Sue Stemp beforing she decided to launch her own namesake line. The line retails rom $110 to $450.

SENA is a contemporary, knits driven line offering a range of luxe basics with high fashion detailing that exudes the philosophy of effortless dressing with downtown attitude. With an emphasis on fit and high quality craftsmanship through domestic production, SENA is a part of the fight to “Save the Garment District” as all clothes are developed and produced in the heart of the Garment District in New York City. The Spring/Summer 2010 collection is titled “Urban Promenade” reflecting her vision of a girl who lives and seeks life creatively using the city as her canvas.

SENA is currently available at revolveclothing.com, Big Drop (Miami and NY), Fred Segal Fun (Santa Monica), Dighton Rhode (Greenwich, CT), Bleu LA, Bleu Westlake and Kitson (LA). More pics after the jump…
