Apple iPad – Officially Announced

An event to see “Apple’s Latest Creation” was held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco earlier today with Steve Jobs back as the MC. And after months of speculation and name guessing, Steve Jobs finally and officially announced their newest ‘creation’, the Apple iPad. Taking off where the iPhone and iPod Touch left off, the iPad seems to be an incredible device with a bigger screen and whole list of new iPad-centric features. The iPad seems to be an incredible on the go or even home based device with one version featuring WiFi connectivity and another one featuring WiFi and 3G connectivity (the 3G data plan is a separate cost). For full tech specs and features, check it out at Apple. We definitely need to try out the Apple iPad so we’ll be on the look out when they start shipping in late March.
