16th Annual QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" Charity Event

This past Tuesday I attended the 16th Annual QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” cocktail event where Jessica Simpson, Real Housewives of NYC‘s Kelly Bensimon, Royal Pain‘s Reshma Shetty, Ugly Betty‘s Mark Indelicato, Howard Stern’s wife and model Beth Ostrosky, designer Isaac Mizrahi and more came out for some shoe shopping. QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) joined forces for a charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research and education. The sale (which went live on QVC), in honor of breast cancer awareness month offered shoes at half the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. In addition to the October 13th scheduled broadcast, shoppers may contribute to the cause by purchasing the “Shoe of the Day,” offered each weekday throughout the month of October on QVC from 7 AM to 9 AM (EST). A special collection of shoes will also be available online, at QVC.com throughout the month.

In addition, Jessica Simpson, the 2009 QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” PSA Spokesperson, is unveiling her collection of shoes, accessories and handbags on QVC on October 19th, so be sure to check up on that. In case you were curious, un Tuesday night, Jessica wore a Dolce and Gabbana dress paired with her own Jessica Simpson shoes.
