Winter is approaching, it’s time to get your winter gear out and prepare for the cold. I remember last year when UNIQLO introduced the HeatTech innerwear to the US, I was thinking if it actually would keep me warm since it looked pretty sheer. I was curious so I gave it a try and it did not a disappointment. “HeatTech innerwear is woven out of a specially designed hollow fibre thread that captures little pillows of toasty warm air, insulating your body in the same way a heavier wool would and creating a secret weapon against the winter chill.” HeatTech fabric is a rayon mix that absorbs your body moisture and converts it into heat, made to fit snugged against your body and perfect for layering, I have a few myself. UNIQLO has also just launched an online store for HeatTech so there’s no excuse for not trying it, I personally really like it. There’s a bunch of new colors added, I think I’m going to pick up a few pairs of leggings this time around.
The fall/winter 2009-10 ad campaign for HeatTech features lots of big models like Tao Okamoto, Erin Wasson, Coco Rocha, Lily Donaldson, Sessilee Lopez, Sasha Pivovarova and Daniel Liu (can’t remember the female model to the left in the first pic and all the rest of the male models) styled in HeatTech innerwear.
