Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week officially kicks off today with a bunch of shows and presentations along with the much talked about Fashion’s Night Out event. In honor of the FNO event, Phillip Lim re-created one of the archival pieces to be sold tonight, he has taken the motorcycle leather jacket with tiered ruffle hem from his Spring 2009 collection and embellished it with gunmetal pyramid studs. The original version from Spring 2009 sold out almost instantly upon hitting the racks, and the re-orders from retail partners were pouring in. Now customers have the opportunity to own an even more special limited edition version of this piece, the jacket will retail for $1500. Phillip and Irina Lazareanu will be offering customers personal styling tips from 6-9pm during the epic FNO event, festivities end at 11pm!
