Star Trek

My Twitter followers already know that yesterday I was invited to watch the screening of Star Trek, courtesy of my buddy Mark Kwan. I’m a huge J.J. Abrams fan (love Alias and Lost) so I’ve been anticipating this movie for a min already and plus I love sci-fi and futuristic movies so I couldn’t miss this. To be honest I was never a huge fan of Star Trek to begin with but with J.J. Abrams got skills so I knew it would be a hot movie. The line for the screening was super long, thank god I didn’t have to wait- the theater was fully packed when the clock hit 7:25pm. At 7:30pm the movie started promptly and all the Star Trek fans got amped up and started clapping, I was also anticipating to see Zachary Quinto aka Spock (Sylar in Heroes) in the movie and he didn’t make me disappointed (he was extremely cute in the movie). Chris Pine aka James T. Kirk and John Cho aka Hikaru Sulu were pretty funny too, I enjoyed their parts too. The movie was full of action and had quite a bit of funny moments, I was at the edge of my seat almost the entire time. The fight scenes were pretty damn amazing and not to mention the outfits were pretty cool too especially the girls uniforms. I’ve totally been converted into a Star Trek fan thanks to J.J. Abrams, the movie is fresh and exciting. This movie will disappoint no one.
