I’ve always liked Y-3 for their sporty yet edgy aesthetics, their collections are plain but cut in an interesting way where high performance meets high fashion. Y-3’s Spring/Summer 2009 campaign brings you into “synthetic reality, an exploration of people’s lives seen as a glimpse through the lens of omnipresent surveillance cameras.” The Y-3 movie filmed by Darren Lew with the creative direction of Doug Lloyd, “captures a mood of undiluted elegance, vibrancy and sophistication – the mood of Y-3.”
