Lewis and Ashley Jeanne Fall 2009 Collection

I was happy when I got a personal invite from designer Alison Lewis to check out the combined presentations of her fall 2009 line, Lewis and Ashley Granata’s Ashley Jeanne accessories line at Bobo’s last night. The presentation was intimate, with champagne flowing and people crowding over the models for a closer look. It felt like lots of fashion people were trying to all get into a small “attic”, although it was crowded, the clothes made up for it. The first thing I noticed was the cat in a pink tutu draped in pearls hanging from the ceiling, it was funny and weird at the same time- I couldn’t get my eyes of it for some weird reason. Moving on from that the models were just having fun on “stage”, sipping champagne and getting macked on by men in suits left and right. The Lewis collection was definitely fitted for everyday-wear, Alison’s vintage-inspired collection was cute and chic- I’d totally wear some of the pieces. The scarves were Ashley Jeanne, and was hand-printed by the designer herself. Now check out the pictures for yourself…
