First Look: Mirror/Dash by Kim Gordon for Urban Outfitters

We’ve first posted about the upcoming Urban Outfitters spring ‘09 designer collaborations last week, thanks to reader lucy92 for tipping us that The Moment has the first look at the Mirror/Dash by Kim Gordon line. The capsule collection was designed by Sonic Youth icon Kim Gordon in collaboration with Jeffrey Monteiro (formerly at Derek Lam) and Melinda Wansbrough (a Mayle and Sari Gueron alum) and is slated to launch on February 16th at Urban Outfitters.

In The Moment interview Gordon talks about the line, “We’re actually trying to do something a little less trend oriented, a little more classic, that might appeal to someone say who used to shop at Urban [Outfitters] but wants something slightly less young looking. And we would like to appeal also to the usual Urban customer as well.”
