Peter Som No Show at New York Fashion Week in Feb

Amongst a list of other designers, according to WWD Peter Som will not be showing at New York Fashion Week next month due to the split of Peter Som and Creative Design Studios and the current market conditions. “We have realized that our strategic interests are no longer aligned and feel that this is the best direction for our company at this time,” said Som. Peter Som will also be reducing the size of the collection and exploring options to showroom presentation, a look book or private sales and press appointments. With the poor economy now, it may be a smart move.
