More bad news, Husband and wife design team Swaim and Christina Hutson of Obedient Sons & Daughters is closing its doors, this time its not all to blame the poor economy. According to WWD, the closing is “due to problems with their majority investor”. “For the last year, we have continuously fought to maintain daily operations and have exhausted all alternatives and at this point we need to move on,” said Swaim Hutson. But that’s not the last of them, come New York Fashion Week they will launch an independently owned sibling venture for fall with a show on February 14th- the name is yet to be revealed.
