WWD reports that Chanel cancels Mobile Art tour due to the poor economy right now, “considering the current economic crisis, we decided it was best to stop the project,” said a Chanel spokeswoman. “We will be concentrating on strategic growth investments.” Its sad but reality, plans have been scraped to take the exhibit to London, Moscow and Paris. So glad I was able to check out the exhibition when the pavilion landed in New York, I was super sad when I missed the one in Hong Kong when I was visiting at the same time. Perhaps when the economy gets better it may come back? Let’s just hope…
