Modern, outdoor lifestyle brand Tretorn (a subsidiary of PUMA) is officially opening its first New York City storefront on July 15, 2008. The 1300 square foot Tretorn Shop in Soho will be the first New York City location to showcase all of brand’s collections featuring Tretorn sneakers and rubber boots for men, women and kids; Klader, Tretorn’s line of men’s apparel; accessories; and Tretorn eyewear. In addition to Tretorn’s mainline collections, the shop will feature bicycles, boats and other items that fit into the Tretorn Lifestyle or which give a nod to the brand’s Scandinavian roots.
The New York store is only the second Tretorn Shop to open worldwide, with the first opening last November in Georgetown, DC. Tretorn has also explored other innovative retail concepts such as the Tretorn Wellie Wagon which made its New York debut this spring in a handful of outdoor spaces to sell sneakers and Tretorn wellies. The opening of the Tretorn Shop will be marked with an outdoor celebration catered by Aquavit, New York’s premier Scandinavian restaurant. I can’t wait to check out the store, it looks great from the pics already, I quite like their rubber footwear– will definitely try them on at the store!
More pics after the jump…
