Gossip Girl Fashion

Are you into Gossip Girl for the show or is it for the fashion? According to the NYT, it’s all about the fashion, “the series has had only middling success in the ratings” but “the show has given an unexpected mass appeal to patrician staples like crested blazers, layered polo shirts and kilts. When cooler days approach this fall, some retailers are predicting a run on argyle sweaters, knee socks and high boots.” I remember when I first watched Gossip Girl I went nuts looking for the Chinese Laundry Over-the-knee Strate Boots that Blake Lively was rockin’ and when I did the research I was amazed at how many other people were in search of it too! I still watch closely at what the Gossip Girls wear it’s good inspiration, don’t you agree?

I am one that is actually addicted to both the show and the fashion, how about you? On the side note the all new series releases on September 1st just in time for back to school, I anticipate to see all the nice outfits!
