Many brands that were once only offering men’s selections has tapped into the women’s market. Check out the sneak peek for fall 2008, Penfield, the classic outerwear heritage brand will be offering their 3xDry waterproof technology and style to women. 3X Dry treatments combine two technologies into one textile. On the outside the textile is finished with a water repellent function, whereas the fabric’s inside absorbs perspiration. Then the perspiration is distributed over a large surface area and escapes to the outside. This technology ensures your clothes get dry in flash and is waterproof.
For fall 2008 there will also be a new DPM (Maharishi) camouflage print, due to Penfield’s ongoing collaboration. Every fall season, a brand new camouflage print will be introduced, additionally. Everything from jackets to sweaters will be available in the DPM (Maharishi) camouflage print which we will be getting more details of soon. Penfield has great outerwear but they were only available for men, its great that next year they’ll be adding a women’s collection. Its great how they just made the men’s styles in smaller sizes instead of making it super girly! Time for a new winter jacket!
