The first Hilfiger Denim store in the US has opened its doors this past Friday in the heart of Soho, NYC. If you shopped in Soho this weekend you’ve probably already seen the store. The store is themed around and inspired by the Mod revival of the ’70s. Décor highlights include: Tom Dixon mirror balls, Eero Aarnio bubble chairs, vintage posters, image-casting, custom-designed LED chandelier, Hollywood-lighted cabinetry, library walls and state-of-the-art DJ booth and sound system.
The fall/winter ’07 Hilfiger Denim collection – the first ever available in America – includes three premium women’s and men’s lines ranging in price from $98 to $175. Other merchandise available includes western shirts, cricket sweaters, baseball polos, t-shirts and other basics, as well as some vintage items. A special line of selvedge denim, priced at $250 per item, includes, for a limited time, a number of items signed by Tommy, at $375. Have you visited the store yet? Go get your denim fix!
