Last year I ducked into Metropolis because of a massive rain storm, I was pleasantly surprised to have discovered one of my favorite vintage spots in New York with a wide variety of shoes. They also have a lot of coats and t-shirts, dresses and a selection of vintage airliner bags that are worth a gander if you have time, but the the shoe and boot selection will keep you busy for quite a while. They carry tons and tons of styles in a range of sizes, including those hard to find small sizes. So if you are dying to find a refined pair of pumps to go with a summery frock or knee high flat boots to roam the street on a shopping mission for great fall finds Metropolis is a great place to start. In the past year i haven’t left this store without a shoe purchase!
