The Scene
Located in the heart of New York City’s Chinatown, Quickly serves up freshly prepared meat, seafood and vegetarian platters, ready to cook shabu shabu style — in a hot pot of tasty simmering broth. Mix your own sauce, pick one of our signature Bubble Tea beverages, and you have a wonderful meal to savor on a lazy afternoon, or to enjoy with family and friends. – Quickly

Hotpot is def one of my favorites, although I don’t know or like to cook this is the only time I will cook for myself haha. Just dump everything in the boiling broth for a few mins (depending on what you have) and its ready to eat with a lil sauce. I usually like to eat hotpot with my family (one big pot instead of individual pots), it is fun and we all gather around to chit chat. Quickly is very convenient, its in Chinatown and its a great place to chill with friends. My friend Shawn suggested to eat there after shopping on a Saturday, we had a total of five people which is not a good number b/c the largest table only fits four people, this spot is best to go with even numbers. But you can always split into two tables (3 on 1 and 2 on 1), this is a decent spot for shabu shabu, the prices are cheap and with one order you will get full. I recommend this spot and I will def go back for more, but the best I had was in Hong Kong (ahh memories). Peep the pics after the jump…
