Twenty dollars buys a feast at tightly packed and perennially busy Gia Lam II, a divey Vietnamese spot, popular with families, lunch breakers, and afterschool teens, in the heart of Sunset Park’s Chinatown. A friendly staff works the room, delivering favorites like crisp, crackling spring rolls and shredded pork rolls wrapped in rice paper. Pho tai, Vietnam’s great comfort food, arrives with plenty of rice noodles and thin strips of beef. – Citysearch
I always hit up this spot in BK when I’m feelin’ for some Viet food, this is my personal favorite there. I don’t live in BK so I don’t know much good places to eat, but I’ve been at this spot whenever I’m around. And yes, I always get the same thing, Spring Rolls and Pork Chop with Rich or Noodles haha. This place is always packed b/c its right on 8th Ave…haha, give it a try! Peep the food after the jump…
Viet Spring Rolls…oh so yummy!!
My fave: Pork Chop with Noodle Soup
Beef Cubes with Fried Rice…YUMMY TOOOO!!
