Asia de Cuba – New York
237 Madison Avenue
New York, NY 10016
The Scene
Set in the Morgans Hotel on Madison Avenue, Asia de Cuba combines Asian flavors and cooking techniques with home-style Cuban cuisine.
Heard a lot of good reviews about this restaurant so I decided to go there with my peepz. Sorry no picz of us haha but there’s some on the food…for those that are thinking bout going there go with more peepz b/c its family-style dishes. I would definitely go there again.
My suggestion to them is to renovate their bathroom, every nicely designed restaurant has a NICE bathroom. I was disappointed when I stepped foot into their bathroom it looked like I went to a public bathroom…step up the bathroom game!
After the jump…
Calamari Salad ‘Asia de Cuba’ – I don’t like salad but the rest of the gurlz loved it. I just picked out all the calamari…haha
Crab Croquetas – this was off da hook! DAMN!!
Oxtail Springroll – I didn’t really like this b/c there’s so much “crap” inside haha
Lobster Boniato Mash – this was aiight, I wouldn’t order it again…
Honey-Rhum Glazed Pot Roasted of Pork – this tasted like beef tripes, not bad at all
Grilled Chipotle Glazed Strip Steak – other than it being a bit spicy, it was pretty good
Latin Lovers – DAMN this is so good & pretty!
oops…all gone!
