adidas Originals x The Farm Company Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

adidas Originals x The Farm Company Spring/Summer 2014 Collection

To fuel excitement for the upcoming World Cup, adidas Originals teamed up with one of Brazil’s evocative brands, The Farm Company, for an exclusive collaboration. The collection takes iconic adidas Originals styles and marries them with The Farm Company’s signature prints. The result is a collaboration of sport and style in an explosion of colors.

The Farm Company developed four kaleidoscopic graphics in vibrant colors for the urban classic silhouettes. Celebrating Brazil, the prints capture the country’s tropical flowers, Toucans, and indigenous flora and fauna. The collection includes a track jacket, crop top, shorts, and the Gazelle. Love the track jacket and shorts together! Would you wear separately or as a suit?

The collaborative collection between adidas Originals and The Farm Company will be available in Brazil now exclusively through The Farm Company locations – stores and online – and global adidas Originals outlets and online at adidas.com.

Mary Katrantzou x adidas Originals

Mary Katrantzou x adidas Originals

News on collaborations just doesn’t end, which I’m happy about. adidas announced earlier this week that they’ve tapped London-based designer Mary Katrantzou, who is known for her amazing prints, to create a women’s collection. The collection will include apparel and footwear for women along with some men’s products as well. I can’t wait to see the all the crazy prints and colors from the collection come November.

In the meantime, you can browse Mary Katrantzou’s collections on luisaviaroma.com and forwardforward.com.

Stay tuned for more updates from the collaboration! Are you excited?

Vans x Seea Spring 2014 Collection

Vans x Seea Spring 2014 Collection

This spring, Vans partners with women’s surf brand Seea, for a collection of footwear influenced by Amanda Chinchelli, founder and designer of Seea swimwear and wetsuits. Three fun styles represent Chinchelli’s love of the sea: the Mohikan, Lanai, and a brand new Surf Sider style, the Solana. As a special Seea touch, each footbed is marked by a colorful fossil print design inspired by waves.

The Mohikan boasts added fringe details and a distressed gold wash on suede uppers while the tailored low-top Solana is embellished with gold stripes designed to mimic the rhythm of waves. Rounding out the collection is the Lanai sandal, which incorporates the unifying fossil pattern on the footbed and Vans x Seea logo detail.

“As a kid growing up in Italy and Brazil, Vans represented all things cool in California, so to be able to contribute to that legacy now is amazing. I love the idea of connecting modern designs with the history of the brand and its role in shaping original surf culture. I think I’ve had Vans in my closet since I was ten, so these shoes are definitely close to my heart. Vans is the most iconic surf-skate company in the world, so as my family grows and we set down our own roots in California, I couldn’t be happier to work together,” said Seea founder Amanda Chinchelli.

James Franco x Gucci Techno Color Sunglasses Film + Collection

James Franco x Gucci Techno Color Sunglasses Film + Collection

Gucci and James Franco has partnered on a launch video for the new Techno Color Sunglasses Spring/Summer 2014 collection for men and women. The video was directed by James Franco, who also stars in the short film along with model Natali Bonifacci. The film set took place at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, featuring a charming game of seduction between Franco and Bonifacci, with their eyes subtly intensified by the vivid shades of Gucci Techno Color sunglasses.

The Gucci Techno Color eyewear capsule collection is a blend of sensuality and lightness, with a glam twist. Its linear and pure design is the result of a technology patented in the Eighties by Safilo Group and reinterpreted today in a new, lighter-than-ever version, enhanced by vibrant exotic colors: the utmost expression of the House’s fashion authority and technical expertise.

The Gucci Techno Color sunglasses collection is available at Gucci boutiques, gucci.com and select high-end opticians worldwide. Check out the video and collection after the jump…
