Converse Essentials

Converse Essentials

Monday, September 26, 2016by Wendy Lam

So excited for the launch of the new Converse Essentials Collection, it is now my go-to staples for comfort especially for lazy Sundays and airport wear. Rocked out my new gear yesterday for brunch and just chilled in it the entire day. The Converse Essentials Collection was designed to wear better with time, I first previewed the line when I was in Shanghai and I was dying to get my hands on it. Each piece includes fabric that fades naturally with long-term wear, durable stitching and a managed shrinkage fit that remains the same throughout its lifespan. The material is super soft and comfortable on skin, I now want all the colors!

The collection is offered in both men and women, consists of staples, including a tee, crewneck, pull-over hoodie, full-zip hoodie, pant and backpack. I love the monochrome look with a pop of color. And who says you can’t rock sweats with a pair of heels? Definitely elevates the casual look.

To introduce the Converse Essentials collection, Converse will drop a limited-edition Converse Essentials x Fragment collection, designed by Fragment founder Hiroshi Fujiwara, a globally influential streetwear designer and a pioneer for Nike’s limited-edition HTM line.

The limited-edition Converse Essentials x Fragment collection will launch on Wednesday, September 28, at Converse retail stores, select retailers and on Converse.com for suggested retail prices of $40 – $90 USD.

The new inline Fall 2016 Converse Essentials Apparel will launch on Thursday, September 29, at Converse retail stores, third party retailers and on Converse.com for suggested retail prices of $35 – $90 USD in street-ready colors such as, heather grey, egret, obsidian, red, and black.
