dashiki love…

If you follow @nitro_licious on Instagram you already know that I was in LA a couple of weeks ago. I was there for a few meetings and also co-hosted my goddaughter Lilian Kay Tam’s 2nd birthday party. Check out the feature on minilicious.com.

Snapped these photos around West Hollywood on the first day I was there in between meetings, it was so hot I’m so glad that I wore this dashiki. I actually got this piece when I went to South Africa back in 2012. As usual it got buried in my piles and I just recently found it. I’m obsessed with dashikis, they’re so cute right?

At times I miss LA, mainly my friends there and the yummy food but another reason is that I’m able to wear heels all the time! Since you’re hardly walking and always in the car, it’s so easy to wear heels. Totally opposite of NYC but I do not miss the traffic there…
