Leather – RB2140QM (pictured above)
For the first time ever the iconic Wayfarer comes clad in leather. A combination of craftsmanship and innovation has given life to the ultimate leather look. The frames are carefully coated in genuine calf leather using the “glove” system – leather is dunked in water allowing it to expand; it then shrinks onto the frame as it dries giving skin-tight adherence. The leather Wayfarer is currently offered in two colors, brown and black, and features polarized lenses. Further colors will be released in August 2014.

Velvet – RB4171
The must-have Erika has been completely revamped, the acetate frames screenprinted using a high-quality flocking process that produces a velvet finish and guarantees the texture keeps an extra-strong hold on the structure. Flocking consists in the application of screenprinted velvet onto the adhesive coated surface of the frame. The resulting Ray-Ban sunglasses are smooth as velvet and offered in five colors: blue, black, red, purple, and yellow.

Steel – RB3513
Metal Generation 2.0. This thin, flat-metal frame applies an ultra-light and comfortable fit to the most iconic product in the Ray-Ban range. A unique laser-cutting process allows a stand-out effect that underlines the smallest details as well as creating a striking look.

Denim – RB2140
For the first time ever, the iconic Wayfarer is offered in solid denim, a unique style produced using Ray-Ban’s high-tech manufacturing process. The frames are made of 100% ultra-resistant denim with a very thick thread count layered with polypropylene and acetate. The two are fused through an accurate layering process carried out at temperatures up to 200?C to achieve a perfect adherence. The result is a multi-layered (four to five layers) solid-denim Wayfarer, finished by hand for a unique and distinguished look. The Denim-RB2140 will be exclusively presented in May 2014 and available in stores from August 2014.

Titanium – RX8721
This optical style revels in technology beyond imagination. Titanium is an extremely pure, nickel-free and hypoallergenic material that’s also ultra light. The sleek, minimal design is made of 100% titanium alloy, laser cut for maximum precision to showcase the extreme attention to detail. The Titanium-RX8721 features the Light Ray Hinge, which allows the frames to be assembled without welds or screws. The result is a clean, modern design that ensures maximum comfort and longevity, and makes it the lightest model in the Ray-Ban range.
