I’m sure by now you should know that I’m a gadget geek, I love trying new gadgets. Most of you that have an iPhone probably drain your battery pretty quickly from all the Instagramming, Tweeting and FBing, I know I do. I’m constantly looking for an outlet when I get to a restaurant or when I’m in the car I plug-in right away. But of course I’m not always that lucky to get a recharge. I was just introduced to the Duracell Powermat 24-Hour Power System which is a perfect gift for back-to-school or anyone one that is on their phone 24/7. This product is different from the others because you can charge your phone while charging your friend’s as well. The system provides a wireless charging case for the iPhone, a Backup Battery and a sleek Powermat on which you can drop your phone and backup battery to charge.

The complete system includes:
– A wireless charging case that is both protective and decorative; available in black, white and pink at retail, and also in blue, green, red, and silver online.
– A portable backup battery – for on-the-go power that doubles the battery capacity for most smartphones; also features a light-up ‘power indicator’ that shows your remaining power so that you always know when to recharge.
– A sleek charging Powermat – perfect for charging two smartphones simultaneously, or one smartphone and one portable backup battery.

The Duracell Powermat 24-Hour Power System retails for $99.99. The product is available now at select New York City retailers, online at major e-commerce retailers, as well as at DuracellPowermat.com. National retail store availability this fall. Definitely a great gift for students and friends that are iPhone addicts (who isn’t?). Have you tried?
