bebe has announced that they have entered into a 3-year strategic licensing agreement with Accessory Network Group, to design, manufacture and distribute a full lifestyle offering of handbags and small leather goods back in January. The collection will be sold to select department and specialty stores worldwide such as Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Dillard’s and Nordstrom, as well as bebe retail stores and bebe.com.
The collection will debut for Fall 2010, the bebe iconic lifestyle collection includes casual, career, and evening designs. The collection incorporates contemporary detailing such as ruching, ruffles, bows and chains. Fashion key items are emphasized in both categories. Crafted of supple, hand-tumbled leathers and nonleathers, as well as novelty denims, tweeds and mixed materials, each handbag and small leather good is adorned with signature bebe branded hardware. Retail pricing of the handbag and SLG collection ranges from $58 – $120, with specialty leathers retailing around $200.
Most of the bags are not up my alley but I did like the purple heart-shaped bag with chain strap and the studded black tweed boston bag. Check out the collection after the jump…
