TGIF! If you were unsatisfied with yesterday’s shaky iPhone pics of the first look at Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Designer Collaborations, Refinery29 has gotten their hands on the lookbook! Now you can clearly pick out what you like from the collection, take your pick from leather jackets, tattoo leggings and tops, striped tops, printed dresses to trench coats. Prices range from $17.99 for swimsuit separates to $199 for leather jackets, oh and the cute trench I’m eying retails for $59.99.   2. I expected so much more after the jump after seeing the first three looks. The rest of the stuff is just flat. I wish JPG put more JPG into these.

  3. major let down….*deep sigh* i’m convinced these designers dont design the pieces…. target interns do, i dont believe these big designers would put thier name on such mediocracy!

  4. i love the full skirted dresses but especially the yellow but yeah nothing special topshop n h&m do better everyday lines… =/

  5. hmm. generally I will not buy something that makes size 2 models look fat or pregnant, because if the garment can make their skinny asses look fat what is it going to do for me?? That being said, those plain, crappy looking halter dresses are a NO. Why are they even included in this line?
    That red dress is also supremely unflattering and was in style about 3 years ago. This whole collection, which could have had so much promise, is a no for me. And the tattoo stuff, again, WHY????

  6. -im on a Blackberry so I’m going to take a closer look, but for those of u
    that are “underwhelmed” be mindful of the fact that its
    target and yea its JPG’ but it has to be globally marketable,
    and the pricepoints have a cap that can’t be crossed
    because of their target customers- and u don’t HAVE to wear
    the looks the way they’re shown; but as for me I’m happy with its potential
