The Row Spring/Summer 2010 Collection Look Book

Monday, December 14, 2009 by Wendy Lam

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen always manages to be really creative with their brand’s look books, here’s a look at The Row. For spring/summer 2010, the photos are quite interesting featuring model Ursula Konina from SUPREME, photographed by Hanna Liden, styled by Danielle Nachmani, hair by Kevin Ryan and make-up by Jeanine Lobell. The Row collection features simplicity, tailoring and modern silhouettes, perfect minimalist looks. The “mud” tops and over-the-knee socks are quite amusing, how many of you guys will be trying this look? Thanks to reader lucy92 for the tip, via Supreme Management Being.

  1. This models body is totally disgusting and disturbing. I am a major fan of MK and Ashley but they gotta do better with the looks they are trying to portray….she looks emaciated and sickly..i couldnt even finish looking at the lookbook..2 thumbs down ladies

  2. Wow, I love this, the whole concept of it is beautiful, but I also got a bit distracted by the paper-thin model, should have used a boy instead if they wanted that tall and lanky effect.

  3. The clothes might actually look more attractive to go out and purchase if they fit the model correctly and made it somewhat flattering. Not many clothes are flattering on a stick thin body with no curves. Hence why designers use pleats, and darts, and pin tucks… to create the flow of the clothes to fit the body.

A shame they think people will run out and look for their items based on this look book…. on celebrities (people with flattering bodies) the clothes look great!

  4. Disgusting. What's even worse, is the pre-collection look book for 2010 spring/summer. What are they thinking !? It's disturbing, and in a sense also degrading to see them doing this.
